  • BikeLoud Day

You are invited to BikeLoud Day 2023!

BikeLoud PDX has had another successful year moving the needle to make Portland a better place to ride bikes. Change does not happen unless we demand it and BikeLoud continues to demand it. Our lawsuit and consistent messaging that we need to get to 25% of trips by bike have made us a crucial grassroots voice for a vision of a better Portland. Behind the scenes we are constantly networking and strategizing with policy makers around this goal.

Most importantly, BikeLoud is the place where we can effectively channel all the passion of Portlanders who want a city that is easier to bike in. When we stand together we can accomplish big things. From the bike buddy program, our slack channel, tabling at farmers markets, and making our voices heard to city council and policy makers, BikeLoud is advocating for you.

On Sunday the 27th we are celebrating our past successes and building for the future with our first annual BikeLoud Day. BikeLoud Day is a celebration of another successful summer of Pedalpalooza and connecting all those rides to the larger cause of building a city where bicycling can be part of more people’s life year round. Join us for this year's festivities.

If you haven't already, be sure to donate or renew your BikeLoud membership by Sunday to be entered into our summer e-bike raffle. We will draw a winner Sunday.

Sunday August 27th - BikeLoud Day schedule:

This mural came out of the over 30 block parties we organized. Meet on NE Going between 25th and 26th to help paint a new street mural. No painting experience required and the BikeLoud bouncy castle will be out.

This Fall, you will have the chance to sign up to test out the sweeper and make our bike lanes safer.

1-2 We will ride bikes together to City Hall to read our postcards and raffle off this summer’s e-bike before heading to the bike valet under the aerial tram.
