On 7/21/23 BikeLoud filed its Amended Complaint addressing the “standing” issue that the City raised after the lawsuit was filed. “Standing” refers to the requirements for a plaintiff to have the right to sue. We are delighted that the lawsuit as amended now includes 15 individual Portlanders. You can read about them and why they are joining with BikeLoud to push for safe bicycle and pedestrian facilities in the new filing HERE.
Over the next several months, the case will go back to the judge for further review. Stay tuned for more announcements as it unfolds.
